How It All Started
After years of raising four children and two large dogs, our hardwood floors had seen better days. With a big dinner party approaching, I found myself genuinely embarrassed to have guests over. That’s when my husband made a bold promise: he’d have the floors completely refinished by lunchtime.
I was skeptical... We were used to the "traditional" nightmare: a week of dust, harsh fumes, a colossal mess, and total displacement from our home. But with 20 years of expertise at his company, Historic Floors, my husband had been perfecting something different. He had developed a proprietary way to restore wood floors without the dust, the chemicals, or the days of inconvenience.
When I saw the results that afternoon, I was stunned. Our floors looked brand new, and the project was finished in hours, not days. After seeing the power of what we now call the Clean ReCoat Process, I founded ReCoat Revolution. My mission is to help other families bring their well-loved floors back to life—without the interruption and at a fraction of the cost of traditional refinishing.
